At long last, we have been sent an appointment letter from NHS Worthing Hospital

Angie

At long last, we have been sent an appointment letter from NHS Worthing Hospital for a 2 hour review by Paediatrician, Occupational Therapist and Physiotherapist of Angie’s Motor skills on 12 July 2016.

This is important because although we have an unofficial view some years ago that Angie is verbally Dyspraxic this should confirm this, and her slight general dyspraxia.

Once this is on her NHS records ,we can then access direct help to address this in the context of the Son-Rise Program and specifically get help from a Speech and Language Therapist specialising in Verbal Dyspraxia. We have already ring-fenced a generous donation in case the NHS cannot step up to the mark in a timely fashion and we have to find a private therapist.

This review will also be relevant to The Rapid Prompt Method which The Autism Treatment Center of America suggested we “plug into” Angie’s Program as long ago as March 2015, and the excellent assisted communication review (SCAMP) we had in March 2016.
